What is CVE-2025-4685?

The Gutentor – Gutenberg Blocks – Page Builder for Gutenberg Editor plugin is exposed to Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerabilities in all versions up to and including 3.4.8. This flaw arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated users, with at least Contributor-level access, to inject malicious scripts into the HTML data attributes of various widgets. This injected script will execute whenever a user accesses the compromised page, posing significant risks to website integrity and user security.
