What is CVE-2025-47275?

The Auth0-PHP SDK has a vulnerability in session cookies configured with CookieStore, where the authentication tags can be brute-forced. This may allow unauthorized access to applications using versions from 8.0.0-BETA1 up to 8.13.0. Affected products include Auth0/symfony, Auth0/laravel-auth0, and Auth0/wordpress SDKs relying on the Auth0-PHP SDK. It is recommended to upgrade to version 8.14.0, which includes a security patch. Additionally, it is advisable to rotate your cookie encryption keys to further enhance security, noting that previous session cookies will no longer be valid after the upgrade.
