What is CVE-2025-47566?

The ZoomSounds plugin by DZS contains a vulnerability that allows for reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This occurs due to improper neutralization of user input during the web page generation process. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by crafting malicious input that is then inputted into the web application, allowing for execution of scripts in the context of user sessions. This issue impacts ZoomSounds versions prior to and including 6.91, posing a risk to users and their data.
