What is CVE-2025-48912?

An authenticated attacker can exploit a vulnerability in Apache Superset prior to version 4.1.2 by sending specially crafted requests that manipulate 'sqlExpression' fields. This SQL injection enables the attacker to bypass row level security settings, executing sub-queries that evade existing defenses and potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive data. Upgrading to version 4.1.2 is strongly recommended to mitigate this security risk.
