What is CVE-2025-49046?
The LambertGroup xPromoter plugin is susceptible to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability resulting from improper input neutralization during web page generation. This flaw allows malicious users to inject arbitrary scripts into web pages viewed by other users, leading to reflected XSS attacks. Affected users of the plugin version 1.3.4 and earlier may face serious security threats as they could unknowingly execute harmful scripts, jeopardizing both user data and the website's integrity.
