What is CVE-2025-5035?
A security issue exists in the Firelight Lightbox WordPress plugin prior to version 2.3.16, where the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape title attributes. This vulnerability could lead to stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks, enabling users with contributor privileges to execute malicious scripts within the application, potentially compromising user sessions and delivering harmful content.
