What is CVE-2025-5071?
The AI Engine plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users, including those at the subscriber level, to bypass capability checks. This flaw affects versions 2.8.0 to 2.8.3, enabling potential attackers to access the Management Control Panel (MCP) and execute commands that could lead to data modification, privilege escalation, and unauthorized edits or deletions of posts and comments.
