What is CVE-2025-5122?
The Map Block Leaflet plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) via the 'url' parameter. This issue arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious web scripts into pages. Consequently, these scripts are executed automatically when users access the compromised pages, potentially leading to unauthorized data access and site defacement.
