What is CVE-2025-5143?

The TableOn – WordPress Posts Table Filterable plugin is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the shortcode 'tableon_popup_iframe_button'. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.0.4.1. Authenticated attackers with at least contributor-level access can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts execute when other users visit the compromised pages, potentially leading to data theft or site defacement.
