What is CVE-2025-5234?

The Gutenverse News plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access and higher to perform stored cross-site scripting attacks. This occurs through the 'elementId' parameter, where inadequate input sanitization and output escaping can lead to the execution of arbitrary web scripts whenever an affected page is accessed.
