What is CVE-2025-5292?

The Element Pack Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'marker_content' parameter. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 5.11.2, allowing authenticated users with Contributor-level access and higher to inject malicious scripts into web pages. These scripts execute when unsuspecting users access the affected pages, potentially compromising user data and security.
