What is CVE-2025-5336?
The Click to Chat plugin for WordPress is exposed to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through the 'data-no_number' parameter. This flaw arises due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in all versions up to and including 4.22. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level privileges or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious web scripts into pages, allowing those scripts to execute under the context of user access whenever an affected page is loaded.
