What is CVE-2025-5337?
The Slider, Gallery, and Carousel plugin by MetaSlider for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping related to the 'aria-label' parameter. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 3.98.0, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages. These scripts execute automatically when users access the affected pages, posing significant security risks for WordPress sites utilizing this plugin.
