Stored Cross-Site Scripting in TimeZoneCalculator Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2025-5559
5.4MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-5559?
The TimeZoneCalculator plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and above to execute arbitrary web scripts. This occurs due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on attributes supplied by users through the plugin’s 'timezonecalculator_output' shortcode. Consequently, malicious scripts can be injected into pages, leading to potential security breaches each time an affected page is accessed.
