What is CVE-2025-5589?
The StreamWeasels Kick Integration plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the 'status-classic-offline-text' parameter. Authenticated users with Contributor-level permissions or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts into web pages. These scripts will execute whenever an affected page is accessed by another user, potentially compromising site integrity and user data.
