What is CVE-2025-5684?
The MetForm plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting issue due to inadequate sanitization of user inputs and lack of proper output escaping. This flaw affects all versions up to and including 4.0.1, allowing authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts into web pages. The scripts will execute whenever users access the compromised pages, potentially compromising user data and the integrity of the site.
