What is CVE-2025-5700?
The Simple Logo Carousel plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'id' parameter due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages, which will execute when other users access those compromised pages. This poses a significant risk as it can be exploited to manipulate user sessions, steal cookies, or redirect users to malicious websites.
