What is CVE-2025-59373?
A local privilege escalation vulnerability in the restore mechanism of ASUS System Control Interface allows unprivileged users to bypass file validation checks. This vulnerability can be exploited when unprivileged actors copy files into protected system paths, which may lead to the execution of arbitrary files with SYSTEM privileges, compromising system integrity and security.
