What is CVE-2025-6043?
The Malcure Malware Scanner plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an Arbitrary File Deletion vulnerability, allowing authenticated users with Subscriber-level access or higher to delete files from the server. This issue arises from a missing capability check in the wpmr_delete_file() function across all versions up to 16.8. If advanced mode is enabled on the site, this vulnerability can lead to remote code execution, putting the site at substantial risk.
