What is CVE-2025-62213?
A vulnerability in the Windows Ancillary Function Driver for WinSock allows an authorized attacker to exploit a use-after-free issue, enabling the attacker to elevate their privileges on the affected system. This flaw poses a serious risk as it can be exploited locally, allowing unauthorized actions to be performed by the attacker on systems running vulnerable versions of Windows.
