What is CVE-2025-6234?

The Hostel plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.1.5.8 is susceptible to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of parameters. This flaw can be exploited to inject malicious scripts into pages viewed by users, potentially affecting those with high privileges, such as admin accounts. Attackers may leverage this weakness to execute arbitrary code in the context of the victim's browser session, compromising the integrity of the website and its users.
