What is CVE-2025-62761?

The BasePress Knowledge Base documentation and wiki plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts through improper validation of user input. This flaw can potentially lead to the execution of arbitrary JavaScript in the context of a user’s session, jeopardizing the security of both the affected site and its users.
