What is CVE-2025-6553?
The Ovatheme Events Manager plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an arbitrary file upload vulnerability due to inadequate file type validation within the process_checkout() function. This flaw permits attackers without authentication to upload arbitrary files to the server hosting the affected site. The potential for remote code execution is thereby introduced, posing significant security risks to WordPress users.
