What is CVE-2025-6686?
The Magic Buttons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the plugin's magic-button shortcode. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These injected scripts will execute in the user's browser whenever they access the compromised page, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data theft.
