What is CVE-2025-6692?
The YouTube Embed plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping within the 'instance' parameter. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts into the pages, leading to the execution of these scripts whenever affected users access the compromised page.
