What is CVE-2025-6792?

The One to One User Chat plugin by WPGuppy for WordPress has a security flaw that permits unauthorized users to access private chat messages. This vulnerability stems from a missed capability check within the '/wp-json/guppylite/v2/channel-authorize' REST endpoint, affecting all versions up to and including 1.1.4. Attackers could exploit this weakness to intercept and view private communications, thereby compromising user privacy and data integrity.
