What is CVE-2025-6970?

The Events Manager plugin for WordPress contains a time-based SQL injection vulnerability through the 'orderby' parameter found in all versions up to 7.0.3. Due to inadequate escaping of user-supplied input and insufficient preparation of the SQL queries, an unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject additional SQL statements. This can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive data stored within the database, posing significant privacy and security risks.
