What is CVE-2025-6976?

The Events Manager plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to improper input validation and lack of output escaping on user-generated content in shortcodes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject harmful scripts that execute in the browsers of users accessing affected pages, resulting in the potential compromise of user data and site integrity.
