What is CVE-2025-6994?

The Reveal Listing plugin for WordPress, developed by smartdatasoft, contains a vulnerability that allows unauthorized users to escalate their privileges. This is enabled by the plugin's feature that permits users registering new accounts to specify their own role, including the critical 'listing_user_role' field.
