What is CVE-2025-7437?

The Ebook Store plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an arbitrary file upload vulnerability due to inadequate file type validation in the ebook_store_save_form function. This weakness affects all versions up to and including 5.8012, allowing unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files to the server hosting the affected site. If exploited, this could lead to remote code execution, thereby significantly jeopardizing the security of the WordPress site.
