What is CVE-2025-7660?
The Map My Locations plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'map_my_locations' shortcode. This flaw arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on attributes supplied by users. As a result, authenticated attackers with a contributor-level account can inject malicious web scripts into pages, which will be executed whenever an unsuspecting user accesses the modified page.
