CVE-2025-7688
6.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-7688?
The Add User Meta plugin for WordPress suffers from a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability affecting all versions up to and including 1.0.1. This security flaw arises from inadequate nonce validation on the 'add-user-meta' page. As a result, unauthorized attackers could execute malicious actions by crafting deceptive requests—potentially allowing them to modify settings or inject harmful scripts, particularly if they can manipulate a site administrator into unwittingly clicking a compromised link.
