What is CVE-2025-7845?

The Stratum – Elementor Widgets plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting attack through its Advanced Google Maps and Image Hotspot widgets. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into web pages. These scripts will run automatically when other users access the compromised pages, potentially leading to the execution of harmful actions in the context of the affected user.
