The ShortcodeHub plugin for WordPress exhibits a vulnerability related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'author_link_target' parameter. This flaw arises from improper input sanitization and lack of adequate output escaping, enabling authenticated attackers with Contributor-level permissions or higher to execute arbitrary scripts within the affected web pages. As a result, whenever any user accesses the compromised page, they may be exposed to these injected scripts, posing significant security risks.
