What is CVE-2025-7966?

The Get Youtube Subs plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This issue arises due to inadequate sanitization of user inputs in the 'channel', 'layout', and 'subs_count' parameters. Authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious web scripts. As a result, these scripts could be executed when other users access affected pages, posing significant security risks to website visitors.
