What is CVE-2025-8071?

The Mine CloudVod plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of the 'audio' parameter. This flaw exists in all versions up to and including 2.1.10, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. The resulting malicious scripts execute whenever a user visits a page where the attacker's scripts have been injected, posing significant security risks.
