What is CVE-2025-8089?
The Advanced iFrame plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. This flaw exists in versions prior to 2025.6 and allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to execute arbitrary web scripts on vulnerable pages. Consequently, when users visit an affected page, they may inadvertently trigger these malicious scripts, potentially compromising their security and privacy.
