What is CVE-2025-8196?

The Magical Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This occurs due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of user-supplied attributes within the plugin's Custom Attributes feature. Attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts that execute whenever the affected page is accessed by other users, potentially compromising their security and privacy.
