What is CVE-2025-8213?

The NinjaScanner plugin for WordPress suffers from a critical vulnerability allowing authenticated users with Administrator-level access to perform arbitrary file deletions. This occurs due to inadequate validation of file paths within the 'nscan_ajax_quarantine' and 'nscan_quarantine_select' functions, enabling attackers to delete files outside the WordPress root directory. All versions of NinjaScanner up to and including 3.2.5 are affected, presenting a serious security risk that requires immediate attention.
