What is CVE-2025-8290?

The List Subpages plugin for WordPress is subject to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability that arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the ā€˜title’ parameter. This flaw affects all versions up to and including 1.0.6, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages. When users access these compromised pages, the injected scripts can execute, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure.
