What is CVE-2025-8290?
The List Subpages plugin for WordPress is subject to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability that arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the ‘title’ parameter. This flaw affects all versions up to and including 1.0.6, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages. When users access these compromised pages, the injected scripts can execute, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure.
