What is CVE-2025-8482?
The Simple Local Avatars plugin for WordPress is susceptible to unauthorized modifications due to a lack of proper capability checks within the migrate_from_wp_user_avatar() function. As a result, user avatars may be altered without appropriate permissions, leading to potential misuse of user data and trust issues among the platform's users.
