What is CVE-2025-8604?
The WP Table Builder plugin for WordPress is susceptible to stored cross-site scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's wptb shortcode. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and higher can exploit this vulnerability, injecting arbitrary web scripts that execute when users access compromised pages. This presents a significant risk to the integrity of WordPress sites using the affected versions of the plugin.
