What is CVE-2025-8609?
The RTMKit Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is affected by a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. This occurs due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of attributes in the plugin's Accordion Block. As a result, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access can inject arbitrary web scripts into resources or pages. These scripts are executed when any user accesses the affected content, posing significant security risks to WordPress sites utilizing the plugin.
