What is CVE-2025-9057?
The Biagiotti Core plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher to inject arbitrary scripts through shortcodes. When a user accesses a page with the malicious injection, these scripts are executed, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
