What is CVE-2025-9129?

The Flexi Plugin for WordPress is prone to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping for user-supplied attributes within the flexi-form-tag shortcode. This flaw affects all versions up to and including 4.28. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this issue to inject arbitrary web scripts into WordPress pages. These scripts execute in the browsers of users who access the compromised pages, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data theft.
