What is CVE-2025-9199?

The Woo Superb Slideshow Transition Gallery plugin for WordPress suffers from an SQL Injection vulnerability via the 'woo-superb-slideshow' shortcode in all versions up to and including 9.1. Due to inadequate escaping of user-supplied parameters and a failure to properly prepare SQL queries, authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can inject additional SQL commands into existing database queries. This vulnerability allows the extraction of sensitive information from the database, posing significant risks to website security.
