What is CVE-2025-9499?

The Ocean Extra plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to exploit stored cross-site scripting. This flaw arises from inadequate sanitization and escaping of user-supplied attributes in the oceanwp_library shortcode.
