What is CVE-2025-9631?
The AutoCatSet plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.1.4 due to insufficient nonce validation within the autocatset_ajax function. As a result, an unauthenticated attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability by tricking a site administrator into making a forged request, leading to automatic recategorization of posts, thereby compromising the integrity of the site.
