Stored Cross-Site Scripting in Evenium Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2025-9850
6.4MEDIUM
What is CVE-2025-9850?
The Evenium plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'evenium_single_event' shortcode due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, leading to execution when other users access the compromised pages. Proper security measures should be implemented to protect against this risk.
