What is CVE-2025-9893?

The VM Menu Reorder plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows unauthorized individuals to exploit the absence of proper nonce validation in the vm_set_to_default function. This weakness enables attackers to send forged requests that can reset all menu reordering settings if they trick an administrator into inadvertently clicking a malicious link. Such vulnerabilities can lead to a compromise of site configuration and user experience.
